"My Little Red Book" was a song written for the 1965 film "What's New Pussycat?" starring Peter O'Toole and Peter Sellers. Burt Bacharach had the group record two versions of the song. This first version was used in the film only. A second version was recorded shortly after and was released on the film's soundtrack and issued as a single. The song did poorly on the charts, but had minor success when Arthur Lee & Love did a cover in 1966.

This film version was released on the CD reissue of the soundtrack for "What's New Pussycat?" as a bonus track.
