This is a great album for those iniated with the sounds of Jori Hulkkonen. Well crafted, smartly produced electronic music, in a place quite apart from any genre.
Jori Hulkkonen seems to have a unique sound, often confusing at the first listening, however as your sense of hearing adjusts and understands the songs you are listening to, the complexity, luxury and sensitivity of the tracks becomes more apparent.
Nothing is done by accident. The choice of vocalists complement perfectly the depth of music which they accompany.
As always, Hulkkonen provides those with a discerning ear for electronic music with something to cherish, perhaps not cheerful but his music will always delight and satisfy with its inventiveness, intuition and quality.
This album is clearer and crisper than Dualizm and not quite as accessible as Different, however, anybody interested in quality electronic music should thoroughly enjoy this album.
