Louis Arti
French singer, writer and painter born in Algeria in 1944.
In 1969 he left his adopted town of Behren-Lès-Forbach in Lorraine and began a long life of wandering. He has lived in Germany, England, Tunisia. Louis Arti composed his songs, drafted poems and short stories, which he later reworked, in-between his work at a factory, popular dances, and subway stations. He has performed in prestigious venues such as the Olympia in Paris, and participated to international festivals and television and radio programs.
