Spring 2004
The new CD is mixed! No, really! We mean it this time. 14 songs in fact.
I'm shuffling them right now in my cd player. I think we're finally satisfied.
You can judge it for yourself though shortly. Just a few more steps and it's completed.

I must admit, I feel like celebrating.

We have some gigs coming up to do just that. On Saturday May 1st, we are playing the
Acoustic Lives concert in Kingston, RI, a benefit for both the Station Family Fund and the Music Lives Project.
It's being held at the University of Rhode Island
in a great venue, Edwards Hall. Personally, I feel this show couldn't have come at a
better time. Up until now, I've felt like I haven't done enough for the
victims of the Station fire. If you feel the same, then this is an
opportunity to change that. Cool.

BIOGRAPHIE

The new 3 song mini-ep was produced by Paul Q Kolderie ( radiohead, lemonheads The Pixies) at his Camp St Studio in Boston.
The Blizzard of 78 are from Boston except Pip he's from Providence, RI.
Appleman Studio is where most of the recordings happen.
The Blizzard of 78 have played with greats like Alex Chilton, Ronnie Spector, Coldplay, Tanya Donnely, Remy Zero and The Throwing Muses.
The Blizzard of 78 once performed the Replacements album "Tim" in it's entirety.
Cujo and Nate use Dean Markley strings.
Myors uses Silver Fox drumsticks.
Our wild, old friend Dr. Brian Syrjala is currently sitting in on Fender Rhodes since the departure of our old pal Phil Aiken. Phil played most of the keys on our new album and his performances are amazing. We wish him all the best.
Myors also plays with the band Caged Heat.
