I don't like talking about myself nearly as much as I love & need to express myself about everything else, but I will give it a try for the sake of professionalism & business, & reserve my thoughts on professionalism & business for another place & time. The basic facts are that I am from the south. I have been drawing since, more or less, the age of two. I grew up in Atlanta, Georgia & at the age of twelve I sold my first creation, which was a collage hanging in the Atlanta High Museum of Art & I won a trip to Japan for an essay & art contest sponsored by TDK Inc. The same year I was awarded Governor's Honors by the Governor of the state of Georgia. At fourteen, I left home & never returned. I graduated from Northside High School of Performing Arts as a runaway & attended college on a year scholarship at Savannah College of Art & Design in Savannah, Georgia, & afterward began the merciless flailing around in the entanglement of self awareness, the divine gift of creativity, & survival in lieu of "life" on Life's terms. I am probably tortured in one way or another as clichés related to artists go. I know that my perception of the world around me & my process of information is different than most, & that's all I can say about myself as far as being an artist is concerned.
