STUCK IN THE SOUND is a Paris based band playing a fancy indie rock with sophisticated, attractive and untouchable melodies. After two demos and their first auto-produced album (10 songs) released in october 2004, the band offers us four new songs on the edge of the Strokes' melodic talent, Nirvana's energy, Pixies' rythms, Morrissey's sensibility, and an at the drive-in-like lyricism. STUCK IN THE SOUND belongs to the new generation of rock music. Emerging from this new scene with bands like Bloc Party, The Rapture or Mars Volta, their approach of music is both savage and educated in order to exceed their indispensable thirst to discharge live sonic explosions. By the way, the stage is simply their favourite playground, since they opened for bands like Deportivo, Overhead, Gomm, Koufax, or the Organ, and rocked Paris' underground.Their hit song "ToyBoy" appeared on different samplers and compilations. STUCK IN THE SOUND has just been selected to play at the Rock En Seine festival in Paris in august 2005 with Pixies, Robert Plant, Foo Fighters, Queens Of The Stone Age and Franz Ferdinand.
