Grounded by rhythmic movements and pulsing guitars. Shora brings a shape-shifting blend of the beautiful and the uncertain. The elegant, unusual and subtle melodies always swaying towards an almost unreachable closure.
Lulling you towards comfort and security before erupting or imploding into yet another phase, leaving you to wander how, when, what and why. An independent and cyclic journey that will always be, its arms always open but it's back always turned.
Simultaneously comforting and cold, Shora delivers a mysterious instrumental voyage that will, for the foreseeable future, intrigue and occupy the depth of all who care to listen.
Formed in Geneva, Switzerland in 1999; Shora has shared stages with likeminded artists such as Black Dice, Melt Banana, Boris, Suicide. They have toured Europe with Dillinger Escape Plan & Converge and has collaborated with Merzbow for a split release album.
