15/07/2003 : Some Gigs are planned for the autumn in south of France (Vienne, Clermont-Ferrand...)...

01/07/2003 : The band is now working on the next album. All the musics are written, some lyrics are there (turning around a concept), and a cover of a french band will end the CD. The whole should come out on middle of 2004...

30/04/2003 : MALMONDE is proud to announce a 2 albums deal with OSMOSE PRODUCTIONS. The album "Malmonde" will gain an international release and the production of the next one is planned for 2004.

03/26/2003 : The song "Machine" is available on the CD sampler of Metallian n°31. The album also obtains a 5/6 in the magazine's review..

In 1999, Malmonde started to play kind of a gothic metal which quickly moved to a more aggresive style, between Thrash and Death. The songs are mixing several metallic influences containing sharp guitar riffs lightened by some melodic keyboard parts and techno/electro sequences. The vocals switch from clean to gutural and the whole thing is supported by a hammering drum box giving a result more deshumanized…

In 2001, a first demo was released which was really welcomed by the specialized press and radios. This gave some opportunities to the band to play live in some local places.

Then during summer 2002, the band decided to record an album (finally containing 8 songs including one remix made by Brett from Kalisia) which will come out on january 2003 (partly distributed by Adipocère). Malmonde is aiming to give a finalized product to the public but also to labels.

After having developped their sound with a drum box during 3 years, Malmonde decided to integrate a drummer keeping in mind how it has to sound. Christophe, coming from the band Fairlight, seems to be the good one !
