November 13th Seward Arts Festival on & around Franklin & Riverside Aves Minneapolis MN
I was born in Needham, Massachusetts. We moved to Maine when I was fourteen. I studied art the University of Southern Maine for three years. In 1984 I transferred to the University of Minnesota where I developed an interest in printmaking. Combining a variety of relief blocks to make one image has been my pursuit as opposed to making editions of one single block. Currently I am printing with foam, rubber, sponges, and mouse pads. I am also doing performance printmaking with my group The Unruly Julies. We can create a giant print in less than 10 minutes. Recent themes in my work include food, god, war, ancient history, and current events.
