I’ve been creating book and magazine illustrations and recently had the pleasure of seeing artwork selected for the cover of HarperCollins’ Digital Art for the 21st Century (with my work used for inner illustrations, too); this latter book was later chosen for Locus Magazine's "Editor's Choice for 2004 Must Read List." Other publishers I’ve created work for include Byron Preiss/ibooks, Delirium Books, Seattle Books, and many magazines and small book publishers.
All my work is digital, generally created at full size in 300 or 350 dpi. Being digital, it is easily delivered to publishers via FTP, CD, or even email attachment. This makes for quick turnarounds and a minimum of problems with electronic layout and printing. The digital work also lends itself to easy modifications and revisions to suit my clients’ needs.
