UK music resource website Alternative Nation currently has a Doheny banner running in rotation on its magazine pages. The banner is to advertise the previewing of the full demo version of 'Drive Me' available on this site's media page.
Doheny will be doing some press with AN later in the year, so keep an eye on both sites for updates!
Now based in Los Angeles, Clayden and Morrison first joined forces in 2002 and began writing songs in a very unconventional way . . . over the phone lines?! With Billy Morrison on a world tour as bass player for ‘The Cult’, and J.S. Clayden fronting ‘Pitchshifter’ through the release of their ‘P.S.I.’ album in Europe, the two songwriters spent most of their respective touring time writing and sharing song ideas on laptops, emailing mixes back and forth across the Atlantic. Once the touring had stopped and the dust had settled, they both relocated to Los Angeles to pursue Doheny as their primary goal. With the addition of band mates Sean Kipe, Tony Freddo and Colin LaRocque, Doheny is in action !
