The band Skywriter was formed in the beginning of 2001, by singer and songwriter Jakob Dahn.
The existing line-up with Jakob, Thomas, Morten and Søren was made in summer of 2001, and the band has toured since then all over the country and in Malmø, Sweden.
Skywriter is a band where each member contribute, and are closely integrated into the sound of Skywriter. It has become a strong, self-assured expressive live-band, with preferences to Nick Cave, David Lynch and Leonard Cohen including megaphone and melodica.
Elegance and rock´n´roll.
With the long-lasting songs, Skywriter is diverging from the prevaling Danish rockscene, and the band has gained a growing following with the debut album soon to be released.
